Western Journey

On September 12, Frank and I set out for points west including Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona and Nevada. It was a perfect vacation with perfect weather and we had a great visit with our daughter, Stephanie, who is doing her first clinical rotation in Pocatello, Idaho, the home of Idaho State University.

Pocatello is a small college town so it didn't take long for Steph to show us around. From there we visited Craters of the Moon and (yup) the Idaho Potato Museum!

Yes, there really is a potato museum and we just had to stop and experience it!

The next day we went to The Grand Teton National Park and took a float trip along the Snake River. Fantastic views of the Teton Mountains!!!
We spent a great 2 and a half days with Stephanie in Idaho and Wyoming and were off on our own on Monday morning for Bryce Canyon, Utah and then the Grand Canyon. I hope to post more about that later.
