I got the phone call Friday around 6 PM. Yep! I've passed my first hurdle. I got the job. Granted it's not a glamorous job but I wanted it so badly. I'll be a cashier at Jo-Ann's. I'm supposed to get another call today to let me know what I'll be paid and to give me info about orientation. The interviewer asked me one very important question...if I'll just be giving my pay check back to the store on pay day...I did say, "NO" because I have tons of supplies already. I hope I can keep my promise to myself. On another note, just wanted to show off my 2 latest knitting projects. I decided to do a baby blanket, or two, after completing a knitting class at Sophies' here in town. I'm so thrilled at how far I've come from not knowing anything over the summer. This is my first attempt. Love the color but it just wasn't girly enough
Then I did this one which I made for my brand new niece up in Wisconsin. More later about my new felting project and the CKC here in Louisville this coming weekend.
