Yay! Feels so good to plan something and actually (almost) complete it. And the best part...the parts cost $1 to $1.50 per piece. So, no including the glue, the plates will cost $2 to $2.50 each. That sure beats spending a minimum of $15 for a pedestal cake plate!

TODAY'S FINDS
Pinterest strikes again! I wanted to make some pedestal plates so I went out to search for just the right parts. Here's what I came up with. No, they are not glued together just yet but I will do that soon. I need to find just the right adhesive.

FRAME IT UP!
Today, while Frank and I were in Target, I spotted this set of 2 wooden picture frames in their Hot Spot section. Well, I grabbed them thinking I could do something neat with them. Now, I have lots of ideas but nothing concrete. I thought of a quote in one, a photo of Frank and me in another and maybe a nice monogram in the 3rd. Eventually, I'd like to hang this set in my scrapping area. But I'd like to do something creative with them first! I am SO open to suggestions! Painting them seems to be the easy way out. They do have glass but I can always do away with that if I want.
They measure about 5 1/2" square on the outside and, while they do say 4 x 4, the window actually measures closer to 3 1/2" square. They are kinda small but cute, and they each have a black ribbon to hang them with.
Now, to put on my thinking cap...please chime in if you have any ideas!
:0)
Thanks.
