I think my knitting is coming along just fine. Actually, I'm pretty proud of myself. I found an easy beginners pattern for these booties. I had never knitted with really bulky yarn...it was tricky but I learned a lot. They are Sooooooooooooooooo soft!! Now I'm making another pair for my little 4 year old friend. I even let her pick out the yarn.
The next 3 layouts were made with papers that I bought from Tracy's new store, Scrap~N~Crap. They are all My Mind's Eye and Fancy Pants papers. The first 2 are from Halloweens past and the 3rd is of my sister and me from one of our cruises.
Thanks for stopping by! :0)

It's hard to believe that this empty store, a few weeks ago...
Is full of such fun supplies today!
Looking forward to more inventory coming in this week! I had fun working in the store this weekend. From here on in I am on an on-call basis. But, I'm sure I'll still be around.
Well, Today's the day! Scrap~N~Crap is opening!! We're all both exhausted and excited. I left the store kinda early last night. I don't know what time everyone else went home.
This was the sight as I walked into the store yesterday morning. We accomplished quite a lot in the prepping of the store. I'll post some more pics tonight...I hope!
Here's a short list of brands the store will be carrying:
3 Bugs in a Rug 7 Gypsies American Crafts Anna Griffin Bam Pop! Basic Grey Core'dinations Cosmo Cricket Crate paper Daisy Bucket Designs Fancy Pants GCD Graphic 45 Jenni Bowlin Jillibean Soup Kaiser Craft KI Memories Luxe Designs
That's about 1/2 of the list right now. More later.
I just love this relatively new challenge blog! It focuses on the "Me" instead of just scrapping the vacations, kits, etc. The prompts have been great so far. Can't wait for the next one. I haven't been able to scrap much lately so I've missed the deadlines for several challenge blogs. I finally got to sit down and do 2 whole layouts!
The prompt for this one was to scrap about your favorite movie. There are so many that I've loved over the years but this one just stood out so much more! I'm not a big fan of Abbott & Costello movies but this one was just so different...only 1 of 2 that they didn't act together in their usual fashion.
In a song called "If you could read my mind" there's a reference to the "ghosts in a wishing well". I believe that that quote references this movie. And, this is the movie that sparked my interest in ghostly things and the supernatural. LOVE this movie!! So, I totally missed the deadline for this one but I wanted to do it anyway. This one is for the latest prompt about your favorite foods. Now, I didn't get to look the way I do by eating too many green beans! I love lots of different kinds of foods. But this is one that I have the hardest time to pass up. CINNAMON!! It has so many healthy advantages too! Thanks for looking! :0)
Well, the hardest and most expensive parts of the kitchen work is complete! YAY! All we want to do now is to get a few new accessories. We're really happy with it!
