I got these photos from one of our local tv stations. Fortunately for me, our east end neck of the woods didn't get hit as hard, even though the skies were dark and the winds were blowing. We got less than an inch.
The main branch of the public library...The basement was flooded...lost thousands of books...even the stock that was being stored for a new branch that was opening soon.
The clean up begins!

That makes me sad!!!!! I hope this isn't affecting Tracy's store plans????? Praying for those that are in the midst of all that!!!!
Hey, I had no idea it was so bad in Louisville. In Lex we are not quite so flooded, but it is still raining, and living on the Elkhorn Creek is no fun in a flood. So horrible about the Library flooding.
Glad you are dry.
Daniel got hit hard. His car got flooded to the gear shift and so is did the basement of the house. I have pictures if you want to see. And he was interviewed by the Courier Journal. Here's a link to the article: http://www.courier-journal.com/article/20090804/NEWS01/908040363/Hundreds+of+cars+soaked+in+flood
